The Harvard Alumni Association has apologized for an entry in the 50th anniversary report of the class of 1962 in which Ted Kaczynski — the domestic terrorist known as the Unabomber, who is serving life in prison for sending deadly mail bombs — said his “awards” included eight life sentences.

omgoodness! how much worse can Ted Kaczynski look? these are Harvard alumni and grads? really? their lack of common sense is stupendous! yes--this does make Harvard look bad... and it makes you--John Higginson--look silly for thinking it makes Kaczynski look bad--but not Harvard... aye, aye, aye...

Sorry, I don’t see any harm in this, in fact I think it’s hilarious. NO I don’t me his crimes, obviously. But that a so-called prestigious joint like Haahvahd would produce a crazy nutjob mass murder, and then be stupid enough to allow his “bio” to be published? I think that’s just wonderful. If he’s the crazy nutjob, what does this make THEM?
It will be interesting to see Cambridge Rindge and Latin’s 50th Anniversary Alumni Book in a half century.
Where do they weigh in on Timothy Leary these days?
I’m not sure, but it takes a lot of chemistry to get there.
