Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.
This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.
Where they applauding because they knew the thugs would be leaving?
Diversion and evasion are tools of deceit
Posting a Friends comments? Can you not answer questions asked of you?
I have, as others... is it time for pudding at the HOME or what?
I will personally from the very beginning of this thread catalog and number every question asked to you... If you agree to answer them.... DEAL?
TT
What do you believe should have happened to a home/citizen who did not voluntarily comply? Can you prove all were voluntary? What do you believe is acceptable action by the police if someone did not comply?
Legitimate concerns. If folks don’t like our public policies they need to change them. But let’s make these judgments based on reality, not on knee-jerk government-hating nonsense and ignorance of the law.
I’ll answer who I want, when I want. And I won’t be bullied by you or anyone else.
Existent circumstances amount to there being no question a judge would sign a warrant for the search, but circumstances preclude actually taking the time to get one. The application for a warrant can be made later if demanded, and S will HTF if a judge decides against approval thereof.
Declaring “he’s here somewhere in this city” doesn’t cut it, especially when he’s discovered outside the vast search area.
“family” how big was that “family” it looked like maybe a frat house full, still COMPLETELY ILLEGAL what those heathen coppers did
Well, it isn’t a matter of what I want. It’s a matter of what the law is and what therefore had to guide law enforcement.
****** “I am anti government doing what it ought not. But I am pro government doing what it ought. That’s why I stand with the people of Watertown, Massachusetts in applauding law enforcement for successfully defending innocent human life and restoring the security they need to live peacefully in their community.” *****
Do you write Speeches for Obama?

I tell my clients never open the door to the police and exigent circs won’t do it. Get a warrant based on information
You avoided answering my question - I want to understand what your opinion is.
I don’t think so. I think the criteria is whether or not there is an immediate threat that must be dealt with. Course I’m not a lawyer.
But, you can be sure that plenty of lawyers were in on the setting of the policies that dictated the actions of law enforcement in Watertown.
Sounds like a Red Coat comment made a few years back.
Diversion and evasion are tools of deceit Mr. EV.
We found the teleprompter!

Change is not driven by reason.
No. They were applauding because they knew the thugs were either dead or in custody.
Aw shucks, EV. I can do better than that.
I'll drop you from my ping list.
.
