Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.
This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.
It sucked, but the bad guy is is custody and his brother is dead. There will be lessons to learn form this, the good and the bad. If and when there is a real “take over” by a “police state” and it’s “jack booted thugs” then hell will be justified in breaking all the lose.
In the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Monday the countrys interpretation of the Constitution will have to change to allow for greater security to stave off future attacks.

Here’s some of your public government servants comments where other agents of the government will follow his commands to the letter.
Whats up with that EV?
Secondly, I have never asked any cop to protect me.
Third, No cop has by any stretch of the imagination, protected me by forcing me out of my house with my hands raiesd in surrender at gunpoint with the implied threat of the use of deadly force against me when I have committed no crime.
Again, i feel you would be more at home over at DU.
I haven’t avoided anything. But you’re not the center of the universe. There are multiple people posting to me, and there are other responsibilities in life other than FR. Might surprise you, but it’s true.
Refer back to my post earlier in this thread. THERE WAS NO REASON TO SEARCH CITIZEN’S HOMES! The guy was bleeding and on foot. A tracking dog could have located him in minutes.
That would be common sense.
You know Bloomberg is a blooming idiot. I would never defend his idiocy.
Or, perhaps, ignorance from a keyboard commando. I'm just saying.
EV is a politician who ran in the last prez election, knowing he would siphon votes from Romney, and deliberately refusing to drop out. I’ve been ticked off with EV ever since this past November.
What’s the old saying... “how can you tell when a politician is lying?...etc.”
I’ll give you $10,000.00 towards your next ridiculous “campaign” if you can point out the word “exigent” anywhere in the US Constitution. Anywhere at all.
You are a fraud. A complete, utter, total, fraud.
What Et did was out himself/herself as a mole. Judging by their responses, by no strectch of the imagineation, can she/he be construed as a Conservative.
They failed in their supposed “mission” to catch the bad guy.
After they got done playing futile games, one citizen saw something suspicious, and dialled 911 for help.
Bad guy was finally apprehended, after a bit more drama, by the LEOs, who hadn't even searched the area....
But I don't think the cops or the media or the government are going to sit down, talk about what they did wrong, what they did right, and learn any lessons from any of it.
I don't live in a state/large city that restricts citizens from acting on behalf of our own vital self defense.
I watched what happened in those Boston suburbs, shocked at the reactions of the people who live there.
If you want to continue this debate with me, then you need to cite these specific laws that you speak of and link them.
I really don’t have time to keep repeating to you what many others have already. You simply refuse to see reason or respect other’s opinions. You will make a good member of the Gestapo though if the need ever arises.
I do not remember the police on 911 going into every office in downtown Manhattan...it just did not happen. And they certainly did not go house to house dragging people out at gun point.
You’re evading every damn thing I am asking you.
Ya know what, you’re a little sawed of bi*tch making really stoopid comments here. I hope this isn’t too offensive.
I’ll be looking for ya don’t down the thread Mr. EV.

Precisely, and it points out the inconsistency in your argument. These brilliant men never would have countenanced such an egregious violation of the rights of the people. From a tactical standpoint, the police on parade here are a joke. A bunch of dressed up wannabes who do not know their craft anymore than they know the proper role of the police.
1 fugitive resulted in the lock down of 1 million people?
How crazy is this. Real crazy.
1 stupid fugitive creates this use of force and removal of basic rights.
This was a test.
****** “First place, the people protecting me were all wearing the uniform of A brance of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
Secondly, I have never asked any cop to protect me.
Third, No cop has by any stretch of the imagination, protected me by forcing me out of my house with my hands raiesd in surrender at gunpoint with the implied threat of the use of deadly force against me when I have committed no crime.” *******
WELL SAID!!!!
Bears repeating, OFTEN
TT
At first I thought you were just being stubborn in admitting you are wrong but with the above argument, I see that you are a complete and utter simpleton. No point in discussing anything with you.
Stay vigilant, Bootlicker.
Oh really...how interesting.
