Friends, it's Sunday night again. Warm up the tubes for another 4 hours of classic radio Americana.
*tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
Lots of shows tonight...never heard of Rocky Jordan, Rogers of the Gazette, or Bright Star...
We have an interesting lineup tonight. A Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone! I like it when we can use the word "purloined," instead of "stolen." :-) I love the description given for the woman in the Rocky Jordan episode!
There is a conflict between the title given for the new Johnny Dollar series. I will post the one from the date given, which has a different title than the one given by WAMU.

Me too. What do you think of the lineup?
I’m excited about these new shows...
Hi, Vision. We’re doing okay here. It was a crazy, gut-wrenching week in America. I gave a TEA Party speech the same day as the Boston bombing.
How was your week?
Yes, especally looking forwars to Sherlock Holmes!
On the bright side, I found a really, really great technique for cooking chicken. Am doing it again at the moment. If you're interested I'll mail you...
The world need less rap crap and more Sherlock Holmes...
Yes, I’d love to have the chicken recipe.
I made a nice, big batch of beef stew out of a chuck roast the other night. It was very good. Today, Keith is slow-smoking a Boston butt with the brown sugar and apple juice. Nothing new. :-)
You should try this on pork. Freakin’ great.
Thanks for the chicken thread!
That sauce is mail-order only? If you say it’s awesome, I know it is!
I see the BBQ sauce is available at stores in North Carolina and Georgia and online. I’ll have to order some and try it.
It’s four dollars a bottle with six bucks for shipping. If I order one bottle, I might as well make it two for the high shipping price.
Have I ever let you down?
Oh, I know it’s good. You said it! :-)
