No, no, it seems to be quite real.
If you read the whole piece it talks about a gal who is finally going to be engaged to provide food service there. It goes on at some length about the various hurdles she’s avoiding by not having gone through the usual bidding process.
I guess they figured they better to something, since absent in “in house” cafeteria the employees are probably gorging themselves on greasy pizza, overstuffed hero sandwiches and, worst of all, GIANT sodas.
