I agree. I’m glad he had Sen. Rubio on though I wish he would have asked tougher followup questions. (i.e. Sure it’s tough to make the case for a constitutional republic so why are we bringing in more law ignoring citizens before we make the case to those who are already citizens.)
I like when he lets people expose themselves in a manner which is civil and keeps them coming back to his show for more.
If the boy wants to run for Prez in 16 then he is learning Obamaspeak very well.
Rush’s interview with Rubio reminds me of OReilly’s interviews with Barry O. All bluff and no specifics.
and Rubio’s schedulers are the ones contacting the conservative talk show hosts and asking to be on their shows the past few days. just sayin’

Many reasons, but some of the main ones are:
A: Not enough people to enforce it or logisitically carry it out - it’s a massive undertaking.
B: Way too many legals who are not in favor it (I figure there are probably 80-120 million legals who are friends, relatives, co workers, fellow congregants, etc, of the 12-15 million illegals. Just rough math, but when a third of the country has little league buddies, church buddies, fellow workers, neighbors, etc, being deported, they won’t stand for it IMO).
C: Legal obstacles will rise up immediately in courts, by ACLU etc, and shut down any system.

I agree, and also think Rush is capable of liking a person overall, even while disagreeing with them on any single issue. He also thinks Rubio naive, not sinister, in this situation....which is also key.
Rubio hasn’t convinced me of his claptrap immigration plan. I’ve heard him on Levin and Rush.

The ranchers can pay for their own sat phone.
Just as they pay for their own rifles, gas, trucks ect. ect., to patrol their own ranch land.
Even if there were no illegals, it would be in their interest to have one.

It has to do with SMALL GOVERNMENT, and if you really were a small government conservative, you would know that the best way to keep government SMALL is to allow a few ranchers to be de facto deputies - instead of hiring up a bunch of full time union folks we’ll have to retire at 55 and keep in health care til they’re 95. Yes, I was kind of amused at you for not understanding that the sat phone idea probably WAS the BEST SMALL GOVT SOLUTION.

Ranchers don’t have enough work on their own land without doing the Job the federal government should be doing.
Deputizing a few ranchers to stop an couple million illegals is as dangerous as it is foolish (The ACLU and trial lawyers are licking their chops over THAT)
One of the few constitutional powers and responsibilities vested by the Constitution to the federal government is securing the border
