Yikes. I know translating from comic book to movie involves some toning the down of the colors and sharpening of the edges but that screams "pale man with bad haircut in dark costume". I'd still stick as close to classic as possible.

John Byrne - I liked kid take on the man of steel for the most part, though I thought he was too free with the Lois relationship and should have kept it lighter.
