the film wants to be "serious" and drains all the fun out of the story, making Superman even MORE emo, the "updated" Superman suit is too dark, the film is politically correct and removes references to "the american way"

The trailers, yep. Same problems as Superman Returns, magnified 10X. Brooding, humorless, serious Superman in a drab costume struggles with his identity and fights General Zod. No thanks.
