Obama: Police who arrested professor 'acted stupidly'
2009 (CNN) -- President Obama said that police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, "acted stupidly" in arresting a prominent black Harvard professor last week after a confrontation at the man's home.
Harvard University professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. talks Wednesday about his ordeal with Cambridge police.
Yet after the Zimmerman-Martin incident, he was quick to take the side of Martin. “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.”
actually the imperial president first admitted to not knowing all the fact then accused the police of acting stupidly:
“”I dont know not having been there and not seeing all the facts what role race played in that, but I think its fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two that he Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home,” Obama said in response to a question from the Chicago Sun-Times’s Lynn Sweet. “
Interesting to watch the differences between GW Bush and Obama when dealing with TERROR in America. GW Bush called 911 an act of terror within an hour of the tragedy.... Obama after 4 hours says we have to wait until all the facts are in before we can call it TERROR....
FYI no matter if it is foreign or domestic it is still an act of TERROR... that is the problem with Mr. Politicis all the time Obama.... his heart will never be in the fight against evil.
Obama will demand that PRAVDA stop reporting on this and return to guns and gays toot sweet...
This is the kind of event the Obama will detest: the people will demand real action against real parties involved with no room for Alinsky-style spin and no casual “workplace violence” dismissal. Blaming guns won’t help; if anything more people will see that despite DHS active on site with bomb sniffing dogs and who knows what else the gov’t can’t protect you from such things, and while being armed may not have helped in this paricular case it at least is something the individual can do, something sheeple can understand, for those other unexpected moments of self dependent survival. The nation and the world are watching his response, and it’s looking pretty weak out of the gate.
The guy’s a partisan dick that doesn’t give a crap about equity.
Does anyone else remeber that bari and the professor knew each other? What I recall is that bari and mooch had rented gates home the summer before this incident?
“Hey Barry! What about that YouTube guy who made the Benghazi protest””
Lol! I forgot all about him. I’ll bet that poor slob is still rotting in jail. The only thing that most of the American people will remember about the Benghazi incident will be that it involved a porn video and Petreaus shagging his secretary.
LOL! Barry and his ‘RATS didn’t “wait till all the facts are in” before they nailed that poor YouTube guy.
“Barry and his RATS didnt wait till all the facts are in before they nailed that poor YouTube guy.”
That was what Al Gore might call “a convenient untruth”.
That’s what they are betting on. Weakness. And he show’s it with flashing neon lights.
If folks haven’t, I urge them to read Clancy’s, Teeth of the Tiger. It details Mumbai style attacks, long before they were performed.
Me thinks odumbo learned something when he made the “Police acted stupidly” statement. He learned to “cool it” before jumping to conclusions. For once I agree with him to wait to see who really did the Boston bombings. His job as POTUS is to keep Americans calm (Restrained from killing every muzzie on the street?) and hopefully not jumping to conclusions about a left or a right leaning perp. Too bad his liberal media supporters (Mathews, etc.) haven’t learned that lesson themselves as they quickly started pointing fingers while the bomb smoke was still visible.
