Thjat is definitely a ford product, probably Lincolin or Mercury around ‘53 - ‘54.

It’s definitely a Ford. The column configuration looks just like our 1965 Ford Galaxie. The speedometer is similar, too.

The levers look like little jet engine throttles. Very cool. I’m guessing late ‘50s early ‘60s, but don’t know the make/model.

They operate the auxiliary snow-plow blade attached to the front end.

Doesn’t look Fordish to me. Desoto?

It’s a 1954 Mercury Monterey

It’s definitely a Chrysler product — my guess is Plymouth. Your theory about the air vents sounds right. Actually, I’d forgotten about air vents — mid-century AC.

Under the speedometer there is a guage for each of the four levers with what looks like a gas guage in the middle. I can’t zoom in enough without pixelation to see what clue the guages might offer.

Is that a dash mounted rear view mirror at the top and center of the picture?
And what are those levers?
Ventilation and heat control?

Looks like a Nash Metropolitan. A friend of mine had one up in Portland, and she took practically religious care of it. It looks almost identical.

No idea, but those dashboards are pretty in a primitive sort of way. You can’t even see where the music and/or radio plugs in. And by the way, where are our flying cars? With our technological innovation, we should have had those fifteen years ago.

Now, I’m not so sure. I googled images of early 50’s Chrysler products and didn’t see anything that looked like that. But it sure smacks of Chrysler to me. And I was talking about the knob underneath the gearshift lever when I mentioned vents.
Only later did I notice the four levers on that odd shelf-like contraption. Gee, I can only think they had to do with the heater. I fancy myself a pretty good authority on fifties cars, but I’m stumped on this one.
