This tournament is all about momentum and match ups...and both favor Michigan tonight. Louisville is slightly better overall, but without Ware, and as well as Michigan has played since round 2 (beating VCU by 25) - looks like a Wolverine night to me.

Ever since the Great Obama Recession dropped down around the country many of the name schools pulled the travel money from their team recruiters and kept them closer to home, or if they traveled they had to focus on the very best players ~ no time for messing around at the margins.
You see two Midwestern teams in the finals as a direct consequence ~ and it's going to be that way for a good decade!

Wow! Did you see that fly-through? A B52 right between the goalposts.

I don’t believe there is any way that Michigan can handle the Louisville press. They had a hard time with the Syracuse press in the second half of the semi-final game.
I’m pulling for Michigan, but think Louisville is the superior team.

uh, don’t think so...recession hasn’t hit big time college sports budgets much. I mean, I wish it had, because college sports keep a lot of conservatives from seeing how corrupt big education is over all, but I don’t see your point at all.

Maybe with Ware that would be the case, but Louisville will miss him a lot tonight.

They got blindsided by the recession and some things like basketball recruiting got simplified ~ but not, of course, FOOTBALL.
There were several articles over the course of the Obama regime detailing some of it.
