When it's finally bolted to the floor, and at 2½-tons, plus Cop Shop is ½ mile away, they'll have their hands quite full. Plus, my neighbors are well-armed, several Vets and none have qualms about shooting. I also have it draped with a 7'x8' black cloth curtain, so it can't be seen unless I un-drape it to get inside.
It'd take a HD commercial tow truck to move that safe w/ chain; no F250 would come close without leaving its axel and tranny on the driveway.

Truth be told, I wish that safe was in the basement, too. I had an engineer look at doing it, and he just smiled in amusement at the size of of it and what we had to work with at the condo structure. Just wouldn’t happen wo/ excavating & removing a large section of basement wall.

Your safe is 2½-tons? Holy Carp! I like the curtain, I use that method too in other ways.

Is your garage climate controlled? I’d worry about condensation in the winter.

Three smaller safes in the basement would be better.

Before the unfortunate boating accident I bad a brief experience with a Ruger Gun sight Scout rifle. .308 With a 10 round magazine. A really nice rifle. Too bad...
Also, if anyone has some advice, I aum thinking of joining the NRA and talking advantage of their discounted lifetime membership offer. I am hesitant in that I don’t want to end up on another list. What say you all?

Annual member is best. Sometimes they lose their mind like almost supporting Hairy Screed in Nevada in his last election.

Did you see the clip of Kim Jong Un trying to fire a 1911 with his generals? He was pathetic.
If we go to war with them it will be with his generals and not him.

It’s inside the condo, over south ceiling of basement, well-heated, climate controlled and the safe has 2 drysticks plus 3 *large* cannisters of silica gel, so it’s plenty dry.
Safe is wired/motion-sensored to security co’s dispatch ctr on 30-sec delay, and on 45-sec delay to PD/FD.

Connecticut couldn’t give a crap about those 200 families from Mossberg.
Merryland is the same for Beretta, leaving will make “Southern Maryland” become the poorest state if DC didn’t have all their influence. I have friends their. It’s sickening Gov O’Mallace couldn’t give a sh_t.

Glad it’s climate controlled. Humidity in the summer and condensation in the winter is a killer.
