I know he's been a big supporter of the Labour party in GB, but I've always liked him as an actor. He was tremendous as Father Gabriel in The Mission and as Tiberias in Kingdom of Heaven.

I thought he was good in the remake of Lolita. Although it would be hard to top Stanley Kubrick.
