It seems as though it's the crazy party schools get all the attention these days. But what about the many tame and civilized schools out there which remain completely under the radar with absolutely no stories of late-night shenanigans or poor-decision making? Well, they stay under the radar until they repeatedly get put on lists of the colleges with the worst party scenes in the country, like this one. Below, see what real students on College Prowler had to say about their schools' nightlife:
1. GROVE CITY COLLEGE, Grove City, Penn.
Despite a zero tolerance for alcohol policy and the fact that students of the opposite sex are only allowed to visit rooms during designated weekend hours, many students love campus life at Grove City: "Pizza parties and ice cream socials offer a good excuse to leave the books behind." Others are less optimistic: "No fun to be found anywhere."
2. LIBERTY UNIVERSITY, Lynchburg, Va.
Responses to questions about Liberty's night life range from serious to serious. "Liberty doesn't need a nightlife! If you want to have fun you can go play video games in a friend's dorm room. But let's face it, college is for school work. You should probably be studying instead of partying," said one student. Another said, "We are here to get an education and obey the Liberty Way."
3. INDIANA UNIVERSITY NORTHWEST, Gary, Ind.
"Night life is great! Alcohol isn't served so all students are able to attend all functions," said one happy student on College Prowler, giving a nice positive spin on the subject. Other students were more pragmatic about the nightlife scene in Gary: "It's Gary, Indiana."

How the heck did a Catholic college make it to a top ten list of sober schools? So very Protestant of them (STA).
Most college students are underage for alcohol, anyway. A college promoting virtue, like Thomas Aquinas, shouldn’t give opportunities for students to break the law.
It does look suspiciously like tea to me.
The author is a sick jerk who disappointed that there are kids out there who are not debauched.
Daughter of Doomonyou is heading back to school Saturday after Easter break. Party hardy!
Wrong. My college- Thomas More- no alcohol, no intervisitation, ever, curfew and Friday night lectures. That is the worst party school... thank God.
It was tea.
If you did that with a real bottle of booze you’d end up dead ......
Oh, wait.
Well he died from something else.
(It’s doubtful any human could drink that much that fast and live.)
WOW! I hit the Big Time!
My wife is about to graduate from #2 (she previously graduated from a 3 year program at a feeder school to #6)
Our son & daughter-in-law graduated from #5.
In college I dated several girls from #9 and #12.
I guess that makes me a real PARTY ANIMAL!
“You might like University of the South: programs in History and Classics, and they drink hard liquor ... or at least think they do”

While I was at Univ. of TN back in the 60s, some of us would go over to Sewanee for Univ. of the South party weekend.
They, without a doubt, had the finest party of any school in the country.
EVERY famous entertainment group of the time was playing
there. I think each fraternity was in competition to see which one could have the most famous group of the time.
Drifters, Four Tops, James Brown, etc.
Yes, they do drink there, and it was free flowing and expected.
They use to say that they did not get so much recognition because they were the professionals at partying, whereas all other schools were amateurs.
One of my brothers had attended there in the late 50s
Heh - my husband went to grad school at U of TN in the mid-1990s. The University of the South is a beautiful place.
“The University of the South is a beautiful place.”

Yes it is, but so sad that the once great and beautiful
Episcopal Church has been corrupted and moved over to the dark side.
This could be/is disastrous to the University of the South.
Yes, the ECUSA is long gone to the dogs, but a famous party school probably wasn’t intensely religious anyway, at least not since the 19th Century.
Thanks for posting
I always cringe when I have to click on a MSN site.
If I had to lay a bet if Belushi could down a real one like that, I would’ve.
My daughter goes to James Madison. Yeah, it’s a party school.
We spend a lot of time at Liberty U for Track meets and it is always hopping with activities. They just don’t drink.
Little do we know, everyone in the picture’s on quaaludes...
I actually went to #1 party school WVU and then transferred to #6 Unv FL LOL!! Made it out OK
After my four years in the Marine Corps I finished college at Ohio University. That was in the early ‘80s.
Even back then it had a reputation as a party school, which irritated university officials to no end. They announced their commitment to changing O.U’s image from Blutarsky State to ... drum roll please ... the “Harvard on the Hocking.”
Apparently they didn’t succeed.
