God is Mercy and Love. There is indeed no doubt whatever that He will forgive Fonda if and when she repents.

But it's somewhat beside the point. What Fonda did was wrong and she should face jail time, fines - whatever the appropriate temporal punishment is.

If she was truly repentant of her crime she would welcome it. Be punished in this world Fonda! Not the next!
