I heard that, due to strong currents and muddy waters, it is not easy to track these small submarines with sonar as long as they stay in the area, not far from shore. I hope some further measures have been in place since the sinking of Cheonan.

They can stay submerged for a lot longer than 3-4 days, they just don’t ever come up.
