The following is a list of 48 dead-on prophecies fulfilled by Yeshua. Interestingly, the probability of 48 prophecies being fulfilled in one person is the incredible number 10^157 power. This is according to mathematician and professor, Peter Stoner.
TOPICS: Religion
KEYWORDS: bibleprophecies; bibleseries; prophecy
I've enjoyed "The Bible" mini series as I believe many of my freeper friends have as well. What struck me were the miracles that happened during the filming of the series. It was noted that the producers hired a snake expert who would clear the sets everyday of about 1 or 2 snakes. However, on the day of filming the Crucifixion there were 48 snakes around the cross. So, I looked up the number 48 relative to the Bible. Found there are 48 dead-on prophecies fulfilled by Jesus. Being a Christian, I believe this isn't a coincidence. And, believing that the cross was a propitiation (wrath of God) for our sins upon Jesus; then it makes perfect sense that creatures signifying satan would be present when God's sacrificial Son saved mankind.

Slight problem.
on the day of filming the Crucifixion there were 48 snakes around the cross.
Ok, maybe there were.
it makes perfect sense that creatures signifying satan would be present when God's sacrificial Son saved mankind.
See, there's the problem.
The actor was not really Jesus, did you know?
The snakes in question were present during filming.
There is a bit of difference between filming a movie and the actual crucifixion.

Thanks for posting. I found the post-resurrection film was the best coverage I ever saw on the start of Christianity.

There is a bit of difference between filming a movie and the actual crucifixion. Did you just figure this out?

Jim Caveziel got hit by lightning once during filming of Passion of the Christ, then his assistant got hit twice right after he asked Jim “are you OK?”. Jim supposedly said “Yes, I get it” because he was complaining how Mel was brutal during shooting of the scenes and that he didn’t “suffer” enough LOL

Did you just figure this out? Yeah, right after I posted this vanity thread about how stuff that may have happened on a movie set relates to the crucifixion.
Oh, wait.. that wasn't me.

I believe Christ is the Messiah, but come one, how can you put probabilities on “to perform miracles” or “to be raised from the dead”, or “to bring salvation”?
Bringing salvation is based on faith, and cannot be proved at this time. It would be a chance in one in infinity, not one in 10 to the power of 147.

Somewhere in the background of this thread I can hear the cast of Monty Python’s “Life of Brian” singing something about looking on the bright side of life.....
