To those who have seen it, your thoughts? Tried to see it tonight and it was sold out. (Please no posts from the tired, lame "what's a movie?" fools).

Thought it was a great movie .... A modern version of Die Hard with a better looking Willis

Good to hear. Heard it was corny but non-stop action.

My wife and I liked it. It did have some corny stuff, but the fight scenes were well done and well lit. (I am tired of fight scenes that you just hear the action and don't see squat.)
I did notice a couple of mistakes, but that is just me being anal retentive.
The one that jumped out was the pylons that they use to block of Pennsylvania ave. did not activate immediately.

I heard the storyline is a rip-off of Vince Flynn’s long ago thriller, Transfer of Power, and Flynn is in no way connected with it.

A movie ? Fast moving photos projected through a machine onto a screen, but that’s not important right now.

I thought it was a very good action movie. The audience cheered when it was over.
The whole time I was watching it though I kept thinking if only we had real president like the one in the movie. Aaron Echart played a tough-guy and loving father who told the terrorists to go to hell even when he was being beaten.
Yeah, I wish we had a real president like him.

Yeah, thanks for that. I was already a bit depressed thinking about how the movie president was so much better than our actual president and then you had to throw in the pink unicorn. I am think I am going to need a rum and coke now just to feel less miserable.

I saw it tonight with my 12 year old son. He thought it was cheesy. Bad CGI and such. He's the one who dragged me to it. I however fantasized about the silly North Korean's trying it for real and you know who doesn't live through it. Bottom line is that I was entertained.
If I'm not on a list yet that 2nd to last sentence should do the trick...
