Who will be the one to take a bullet--or a bite in the neck--during the season finale?
I had to laugh when I saw this Onion headline:
'Walking Dead' Writers Regret Naming Every Single Character 'Rick'
I was watching a few weeks back when Rick was AWOL and everyone was saying, "Where's Rick?", "Have you seen Rick?", "Rick will handle all this," or "We'll settle it when Rick gets back."
And I'm thinking, "Okay, ... which one is Rick again?"
I think everything that pushed Merle was about protecting Daryl, especially his finale. So, maybe the 1st season of him being very harsh with Daryl was Merle trying to toughen him up to their situation so that he could survive. I think Merle loved his brother deeply, and, in the end, sacrificed himself so his brother would have a better chance to live.
I think Rooker did such a fine job, that, as a viewer, I absolutely believed, at the end, that I had been mistaken about that character all along, and he was one of the good guys.
Unfortunately, probably Maggie, Hershel (nooooooo!), Judith, Tyrese's sister will die. I'm hoping it's Beth not Maggie. But I think one dies. Probably Carole, but that leaves poor Daryl with two recent deaths. What what will that do to Daryl? Fortunately Martinez, the white guy from Tyrese's group and a bunch of others from Woodbury.
I'm worried about Carl because I think Morgan shows up and he kept talking about how his son turned, and so would Rick's.
But I've become invested in the characters so it's hard to predict when you like a certain storyline. I really want the Governor to go, but we'll see. Maybe Milton will kill him while saving Andrea. Milton showed sympathy for the Gov saying he knew him before the virus broke out, but I think Milton will lose that sympathy and act like a man when he sees what the Gov is doing, and maybe kill the Gov even if he dies to.
BTW My real Gov is Cuomo, who I figure is gun grabbing because he's already turned. He's got bodyguards so he's not really concerned about other ways of having his zombie a** killed.
It could be that Rooker is southern and does not have to concentrate on accent, unlike some of the other actors who have to concentrate on accent and acting at the same time. Merle picked a side at the end. And redeemed himself.
Great, let's do it by going back to your statement:
The clues I recall have been seen by everyone who watches TWD, but actually recognizing them as clues to future events or explanations for this or that - requires a good memory
This is an interesting philosophy that you have and I would like to discuss these events you may be refering to but I can't do so if you can't name them specifically.....
As I said before, just state the events in the episodes and I will go back and review them..........
That shouldn't be so hard for you KittenClaws, why are you hedging on this?
It's no big deal really, this is just a fantasy series about zombies...
Thanks
I thought the same thing until I happened to see one of the shows during the first season when I was at my Dad's house. I was hooked. For me, the zombies are secondary - it's the strong characters of the show. That is also why I liked The Shield.
I’ve never watched the Walking Dead. No reason, I guess it just didn’t interest me enough.
Zombies and Vampires, enough already. Vampires used to be scary, now they are emo teenagers. And Zombies are finding love on the big screen.
What’s next, ghosts? Leprechauns? Yeti?
I've never watched Game of Thrones. I will go find a thread about the series, and let them know!
I believe this was my position in an earlier post. I was wrong to think you were interested in dialog, and it is not important anyway,
