Whenever sensational sounding numbers are posted about the number of “children” killed by guns, realize that the definition of a “child” can be very flexible. In most of these body counts, late teen gang bangers are included just to make the numbers more horrific.

Yes statistics can be very deceiving if you don’t look at how they define what they are counting.

But however you define youth/child there are a lot of Blacks killing other blacks.

It makes no sense to blame the guns for the killings and this is the jest of article. Blacks are killing blacks in numbers disproportionate to their representation in the population.

Do Blacks own guns in greater numbers than whites? Not according to any numbers I have ever read. In fact the numbers I have seen would suggest the opposite.

I would suggest as Mr. Williams does that the Black culture is at the root of the problem.

A true statement, but I take issue with the fall back issue of black-on-black crime. The truth is that the issue is primarily black-on-everyone crime. Blacks are more than 300% more likely that whites to be be violent perps, that is the issue, not the race of the victims.
