I’d like them to define “enormous number” of weapons. Does that include kitchen knives as well? Four Ak’s and a .50 is “enormous”?

A lawyer once told me that more than 2 guns and/or 100 rounds of the same caliber of ammo would be construed by the state to be an "arsenal" at trial. By that standard 5 guns could certinly be an "enormous" weapons cache.

That said, are these people REALLY that clueless? A peek into an average rural granddad's gun cabinet would set these clowns reeling.
