What is the evidence against Lane and Elkins, please? Is there any evidence other than the mother’s ID of Elkins?
[Please understand, if the pair are guilty they deserve the death penalty. I just want to know what the evidence is against them.]

I read where the police say there is a video of the crime.
You can bet big bucks that illegal gun is long gone, and will never be found. Unless the 14yr old dimes-out the 17yr old, it’s the mother’s word against the two of them. Did they locate any other witnesses? I have lost track of the story and the details... just asking.
Well the mother of the baby gave a description that matched the older perp who she then picked him out of 24 pictures shown to her. And the police already had him in custody.
And then Grandma Moses for one says that her little grandson was only a witness and didn't know Elkins before what he witnessed what Elkins did. So he fingered Elkins without knowing it and Gramma Moses confirmed it.
And then there is post #62 -- someone drove the getaway car and was spotted. Was it the aunt of the little thug???
