A few weeks ago I wanted to see him dead. Tonight I actually teared up when he finally did die. He went out storming the beaches.

Great episode.

You know what, I did too, and I wasn’t expecting that type of reaction.

The character was deeper than what is seen with a cursory glance.

It was brought to life brilliantly by a fantastic actor.

For all the the faults the character had, it also had worth.

Good stuff, I can’t think of anything else on tv that compels me to think about it on any sort of deeper level at all.

This was a terrific episode. I felt the same way about that character. When he bit it, I was like, Noooooo. Then, I remembered that I don't like that guy. Well, last night, I ended up liking that guy. He redeemed himself.

I felt sad but didn’t cry. I wanted him to shoot the governor but already knew the governor will be back next season, so that wasn’t going to happen.

When I saw the governor and Merle on the program following the show, the Merle character seemed to be like Merle in his real life.
