two teenage boys shoot a sleeping baby, Kimberly Anderson was still wondering a couple of days after hearing gunshots and a distraught, wailing mother outside her home here.
Since Thursday morning, when a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old allegedly shot 13-month-old Antonio Santiago, Anderson and others in the usually quiet neighborhood in this coastal city have been trying to wrap their minds around a senseless crime that has been played out over and over in the media.
In Brunswick, a town of 15,000 residents off I-95 in southeast Georgia near St. Simons Island, neighbors initially shared rumors about who was responsible and feared how the community would react. After Brunswick police announced Friday the arrest on murder charges of De’marquis Elkins, 17, and a 14-year-old whose name was not released, anger continued to simmer over the brutality of an infant shot to death in his stroller.

This was a news story on KLBJ AM, the conservative news talk source in Austin. One listener called in and asked why they had not discussed the race of the perp or victim. One host finally said that the victim was light colored or Hispanic and both perps were black. The black callers went NUTS after that.
The father is strange not to blame the killers and the mother is strange too - so composed and matter-of-fact in the interviews, not a tear on her face, no rage, voice not hoarse, no disbelief. Packing her baby’s things up already. Maybe she is fulfilling what she sees as the public mother-of-the-victim role; maybe she has had enough experience with loss to behave in a practiced manner.
Even doing CPR on your baby shot in the face is a little unusual - I’d expect someone without medical experience to be holding her baby to her breast and screaming “no” and praying.
I don’t want to judge because grief is different for everybody...but their reactions are so foreign to me.
Sort of right but you missed the part of the story where it said that the 18-year old was actually killed in self defense. He was part of a group that attacked another group and because of that the killer was never charged.
I'll bet there was no marriage with the daddy, and daddy probably has a lawless history himself....
and now were condemning the mother who was shot, twice, and the bio dad who wasn’t even there......I guess the two black animals are just going to take the blame oh, I guess maybe cuz they pulled the trigger?
These evil bass turds shot a 13 month old in the face and the moronic, braindead buffoons in the sewer on the hill in the District of Corruption think that guns are the problem. They’ve done way too many drugs over their lifetimes.
The animals who did the actual murder are so low that they can’t even be considered human. They should just be exterminated outright.
Once the country collapses there will be a prison purge or they will just be hunted out in the open.

Well, the first one was Karen, (a regular race baiter, whitey hater) and she compared this to when Saint Trayvon Martin was shot. One of the hosts told her, "Lady, the victim was in a stroller, not on top of De’marquis pounding his head into the pavement".
Several others called and agreed with her. Still others said it was the mother's fault. She should have known they were in a "bad neighborhood".
