“Do you know they had to have shrimp instead of lobster?

Oh, the humanity! (BTW I had to check twice to make sure this article wasn't satire).

Next thing you know they’ll have to associate with the peasants at the grocery store. Such savagery.

Restaurants on the House side of Congress are increasing in cost so much that aides are being “priced out” of a good meal,

I love Spam. Grew up eating Spam sandwiches. But now I can’t afford it.

Do you realize that a pound of Spam at over $3.00 costs more than a pound of chicken, pork or beef you can get on sale every week?

“packs of Ramen noodles”.

And going through my own lunch rations in the pantry and ‘fridge, I came up with: canned sardines-(Pampa brand, 7.5 oz.), Nature Valley crunchy granola bars, oats and honey flavor-2 packs of 2 bars in each box, Glaceau or Propel brand vitamin water, zero calories, any flavor-20 oz. bottle-all items cost $1.00, from the dollar store.

Add: Fresh Express salad mix, any type, 3-2 cup-30 calorie servings per bag-($1.99 per bag at the local general store), 4 oz. regular or fat free yogurt, any flavor, $.69.

If you are really hungry-a slice of cheese, any type-($1.69 per 8 oz. at the general store), your own home-cooked chicken or other meat, wheat thins or wheat bread, and you have a healthy, brown bag lunch way cheaper than one of those chichi restaurants. If it is good enough for us common people, it is good enough for Washerwoman’s staffers...

"Ms. Wasserman Schultz’s staffers earn between $60,000 and $160,000 per year".

They're grossly overpaid, if anything.

I so despise these people. She and her staffers should have gone with biden on his million dollar 2 day trip. He and his trip mates had no issue with the sequester.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz staffer food budget [per staffer]:
1. Breakfast — $100/day
2. Lunch — $500/day
3. Dinner — $1,200/day
4. Snacks — $50/day

Plus $50,000 for the fat farm of your choice (60 days) to get you back into shape.

Nibbles: Bollinger champagne, Beluga caviar, and lobster.

Nothing is too good for Debbie and her staff!

Hey Deb, peanut butter ‘n’ jelly, can’t beat it. A hot meal? Peanut butter ‘n’ jelly on toast. And to think this woman made it this far in life being dumber than dirt. Scary.
