We all know his right leaning rants on his new show, but the mention of George Soros... Haha...
I'd like to think he is.
Tim Allen appears to be a Hollywood Republican, a fairly tame species that mainly eats its own. His wife on the current show is Nancy Travis, a lib. The writers are obviously all knee jerk liberal, par for the Hollywood course. The show took a dive this season when they replaced the eldest daughter with an actress who can’t act and looks like a troll. They also gave her a baby daddy who’s a dead ringer ideologically for Meathead on All In the Family, which the producers seem intent on copying.
This is how once-decent sitcoms self-destruct.
I remember seeing an episode of Tim’s show just before last November’s presidential election.
The show started out showing a night time scene depicting the front yard of Tim’s home on the “Last Man Standing” set. The front yard had about fifty “Romney/Ryan” yard sales covering his front lawn.
When he entered the home,carrying an Obama yard sign with disgust upside down by the pointy end of the stick, Tim’s character started discussing the presidential race with his TV daughter, who seemed sympathetic towards Obama. Tim looks at her and says, “So you’re voting for the Kenyan?”
argh....make that fifty Romney/Ryan yard SIGNS covering his lawn (not yard “sales”). LOL!

There's a family and a work location, ready to be mined for comedic content, and they ignore it for stuff that will be incredibly stale when rerun season hits.
He can save the commentary for those fourth-wall-breaking web promotions for Outdoor Man.
Yeah, I see that and how that can be a turn off for average viewers.
Oh wow... Meathead! YES!!! I have to acknowledge that comparison.
My wife & I saw your stand up act. We were disappointed. The F-word is not a joke, in and of itself, & screaming it repeatedly is not a substitute for real comedy.
I am not a prude. My mouth is not as clean as it should be. I've laughed at many off-color jokes & I laughed at some of yours that night. But, foul language, shouted without context, is just not funny. Being a fan of the excellent comedy of “Home Improvement”, I was especially disappointed.
We have also seen Sinbad’s stand up comedy. He never uttered a bad word, not one off color joke, yet my stomach literally hurt from laughing so long & hard. That was real comedy.
Sinbad was a good comedian... he ate lunch at the mall I worked at (insurance agency on the outside of the mall in the office part, but walked inside for lunch and saw him there regularly) and was just as funny just randomly chatting.
Sorry to hear that about Tim Allen.
