This is from late last year but well worth watching! Jimmy Fallon's incredible impersonation of Jim Morrison of The Doors is one of the all-time best moments of late night television.

Anagram for ‘Jim Morrison’ = Mr. Mojo Risin’

Good, but Andy Kaufman turning into Elvis is my favorite.
Followed by Belushi doing Joe C.

Belushi doing Joe Cocker was another all-time best, agreed! Looked like a real seizure during the song. LOL

‘The Doors Live at the Bowl ‘68’ was on public television station the other night and I DVR’d it! Jim Morrison could give Frank Sinatra a run for his money had he chosen to sing serious ballads.

He does a lot of impersonations dead on. He does the best Neil Young impersonation I ever heard in my life. If you heard it by sound alone it would be impossible to tell which is which

Great performance. Children’s literature doesn’t normally get a lot of attention from rock singers.

Jim Morrison could give Frank Sinatra a run for his money had he chosen to sing serious ballads. His singing voice was far better than that of most rockers at the time.

Interesting.. I didn’t know that. Sinatra just had that certain somethin’..

Morrisons music was decades ahead of it’s. Fallon nails it.

"Morrisons music was decades ahead of its." Guess I'm decades behind 'cause I think Morrison sucks. From the comments already here, I'm sure I'll be told what a great poet he was, and how I'm just too stupid to get it.
Every Doors song sounds the same. Morrison's fame is deeply rooted in the fact that he OD'd. Had he not done so, he'd be some long forgotten hack trying to keep relevant by coming out every now and then with a bold declaration to save the earth, the whales, the polar bears, or calling for wealth redistribution, etc.
