This is pretty disturbing.
I, personally, have dealt with anxiety and panic attacks, or PTSD (because of a lot of family trauma). This guy is clearly exhibiting the symptoms. Do I know his situation? No. Do I believe in waterboarding of terrorists trying to destroy our country? Absolutely. So, let's get THAT out of the way.
I will expect to get flamed. That's OK. PTSD is a misunderstood condition.
Been through a lot in my life. Getting stronger every day! :-) Can't imagine what a soldier may go though.

Those guys are dressed as gladiators.
I am disgusted by what my government has become.
Maine is a very violent state.
"Meanwhile, the Department of Corrections in the state has assigned an investigator to figure out how the video of the incident got leaked."
IOW, find out who ratted us out and fix them good.
Thugs, so brave when it is several of them on one.
Where is the mistreatment?
The mistretment is in spraying pepper spray into the face of a restrained person. of such capacity that it was only to be used on crowds in large open areas.
Then placing a mask on the man’s face and leaving it there to keep the pepper spray in his lungs and on his face, while he is begging and saying he can’t breathe, for way too long. There was no need for this.
Go read the comments beneath the article.
If you can’t recognize this is torture and unnecessary, or even “cruel and unusual punishment” then you are a very mentally sick person.
And/or a thug law enforcement type.
That's what people say every time I defend the cops. Every time I condemn their actions I get the same mind-numbed robotic reply only calling me a cop hater. Thanks for playing, moron.
You’re the moron. You don’t see any mistreatment, moron.
Your intellect is stunning. ROTFLOL
Said the halfwit who watched the video and said “Where is the mistreatment?”
Said the pinhead who thinks that there is “pepper spray for crowds” and “pepper spray for individuals.” How freaking dumb can you get?
From the article: “ Capt. Shawn Welch proceeded to spray Schlossers face with pepper spray from a canister intended to be used on multiple people at a distance of 18 to 20 feet.”
Try reading the article next time.
And if you see nothing wrong with that, you are the problem.
I read it. I’m just not dumb enough to parrot such stupidity.
Pepper spray is pepper spray. I eat chiles far hotter than any pepper spray on the market. I’ve gotten chile seeds in my eyes far hotter than any pepper spray on the market. It’s a vegetable oil that wears off in twenty minutes. It wore off even faster in the video.
What the officers did was wrong.
Then I want you to take some chopped up habanero peppers and snort them into your lungs.
Baloney. The guy was acting psychotic and resisting every step of the way. I suppose you expect them to let psychotic inmates just go berserk while they all stand around with their thumbs up their butts.
No pepper spray on the market is as hot as habaneros for starters. I have inhaled pepper spray before and it doesn’t stop your breathing. Neither does a cloth covering your face. The guy was neurotic. Like the nincompoops on this thread.
I got a can of mace for protection.
I decided to test it. A breeze blew up and it came back in my eyes and face.
I will guarantee you it was nothing like chili seeds and didn’t wear off quickly.
Another problem with the article. Mace is not pepper spray and pepper spray is not mace yet it uses both terms. So, did you get mace in your eyes or pepper spray?
