Yeah, they did. But on the other hand they did a good job of re-creating the sexual tension between Bond and Moneypenny that was there in previous incarnations of the characters. It's also kinda cool to know Moneypenny is capable of being a bit of a badass in her own right, rather than a glorified secretary. Naomie Harris is also sufficiently easy on the eyes that I'm willing to let Broccoli productions off the hook.

Of course they had to go PC with Moneypenny. I thought the choice of Eve Moneypenny was excellent, and the way they introduced her was outstanding. I think she will be much better than any of her predecessors in the role and her banter with Bond has already surpassed the others.
