Why not? Those guardsmen weren't expecting to be attacked by surviving humans.......Don't forget, even in a broken down society, there ain't many psychopathic Governors like this guy walking around.....
In reality, there wouldn't be any zombies walking around anyway.......

Coming in late here....to answer your original question, yes, it’s the best thing on TV, IMO.
Also, a lot of folks will tell you season #2 was too slow, but I actually loved it (oh, the farm, LOL).
Last night we re-watched last week’s episode. When Glenn and Maggie were making up, and she said, “I’m with you always”, I got a baaaaad feeling that hasn’t gone away. I’m afraid that was setting the stage for one of them to bite the dust. :(

And who is the “traitor”? Andrea? Milton?

I’m predicting Milton. He is going to be acting in another Show. He will be killed off.
I believe Andrea is the traitor...she’s the one bent on active sabotage.
I wonder if Martinez could be the runaway. He didn’t seem perturbed when the governor told him about the impending massacre, though.
Could Milton find the nerve to run away? I wish he could. Wonder if Andrea tells him to precede her to the prison...
