How many soap operas do you know that feature gun, guts, Zombies and post apocalyptic America?
Not many, my friend. So, hide your eyes and hid your kids. Me, I’m preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse!!! (how else are you supposed to learn about these sort of things?)
:)
I know, my problem with shows like this and Breaking Bad etc etc is my OCD forces me to be compelled to have to watch each episode intensely from the first one then in cronilogical order to the last to follow the back story or whatever.
It keeps me from just tuning into a random episode, Burn Notice, Jericho, Jeremiah, BSG, Supernatural, etc etc etc...
I imagine this is a prob with a lot of people.
Anyone know if falling Skies is still on?
Kidding about the OCD.....I hope.
The worst thing anybody ever did was come up with the rage zombies. I don’t want to be forced to run for my life. I want to walk away quickly.
I always have my laptop on my lap and quickly check it to see the date and time. Since I don't go to a job, most days are the same so no reason to fret about the date and time. When I have an appointment, then knowing clicks in again.
Falling Skies will return this summer. Not sure of the exact date.
Lol.
Woohoooo!!! Thank you for giving me my Darryl fix. =)
So do I. I hope they realize they made a mistake going with the governor. Rick needs all the man power he can get. Also I hope Tyreese will understand why Rick behaved like that on the day he chased him and his sister out.
It's relative, but...
It's (currently) the only weekly show I do not miss.
The first season was very good. (The DVDs are available at Walmart for around $20).
From what I've read, the budget for season 2 was cut. I considered season 2 to be a bit of a snoozer. (But still better than 90% of what's on TV.)
Season 3 (current) is very, very good. Of course, there are only 3 episodes left.
BTW The show has a continuous storyline. I.E. It isn't a bunch of stand-alone episodes, with a different adventure each week. Each episode is a chapter in the story. If you haven't followed it from the beginning, you may be left scratching your head.
I didn't start watching "24" until about the 4th season and when I did, I got hooked immediately.
So I went out and purchased the first three seasons and I probably never left the house on weekends throughout that entire winter since I was watching all those past episodes......LOL!
The first one held by Rick (Glock 17) has a makeshift silencer on it made from a Mag-lite.
The second one held by Carl also has a makeshift silencer on it.....
LOL! It must be fun in your class......make sure you post pictures of the best ones.
The new season is set to air in either June or July......
Season 4 has already been approved too......
Yes, these days you can get hooked on a series and be locked in until you see them all.
LOL, yes it is. Neither my hubby or I were fans of the "zombie" genre; but, we were bored one summer night and The Walking Dead's first season was on Netflix. I had heard it was very good, so I suggested we try it. Hubby looked at me like I had completely lost my mind; but, we tried it; and, we are now hooked.
If you have Netflix, you should try to catch up with what is going on. You could try to just jump in; but, this has a lot of backstory at this point, so you might find it hard to follow.
There is a lot of gore; but, there is also a very character-driven story that gets you hooked.
One thing that I have found odd that is that Darryl is the only one who uses a crossbow, even though they all know that the noise of gunfire attracts other walkers. I would think by now they would all be carrying bows and have firearms as a backup.
The other problem I had was the ease with which the governor and his boys took out a group National Guardsmen. In reality they would never have been able to ambush them with such ease. It’s not like they were attacking the Air Force (just kidding).
