Hell, in the old days, the beating of the son would have been closely followed by the chasing down of the cousin and shooting him. Child molesters should not be tolerated.
Good for her.
This is entirely separate from any presumed child abuse under the law for possibly excessive punishment applied by the mother to her son as a result of the above.
In my opinion, that electrical cord could have been put to much better use in several other ways, but applied to her nephew who is really the worst of the lot, not that any of the three are pure as the driven snow, and the law concurs if the incident transpired as described.
It will in interesting, in a morbid sort of way, to see what happens if the greater media and/or the punditry seize upon this story.
Meaning, I wonder how much the “mom beats son for being gay” theme will be played up, and the “mom catches 18 year old nephew performing an incestuous act on her 15 year old son” element will be muted.
That's what I was thinking. What happened to 15 will get you 30? Or is that not the law there?
The molester is gay, and some animals are more equal than others.
Now think about this. This was triggered by the trip to the doctor. This type of insanity is going to be much much worse if ObamaCare is implemented. This happened in Texas of all places. If this goes to court, there is no jury that will convict this worman. But remember, this past week about the incident in CA where a wife is admitted to a Psyc Hospital for 2 days and the state comes and takes away both her and her husbands handguns. Triggered by a nurses notes. No trial, no court hearing, no defense, no charges; but 9 armed men from CA AG's office confiscated their guns. Look where we are going.
The molester was 18. Does he qualify as an adult? If so, he is guilty of statutory rape?
In my opinion, probably.
I’m not aware of a single state with age of consent that low.
Bill Clinton proved that oral copulation is not sex. I’m sure the 18 year old will use the defense of the President of the United States as a valid answer. It certainly worked for that idiot.
If the woman’s 18 year old cousin had of been a female it would have been called child molesting.
But since its a queer act its called consensual.
There is an ilk of humans that beats kids with electrical cords and I can tell you it ain’t pretty. This situation is just plain twisted. There is also commonplace incest, more than you could even imagine. It is plain to me she suspected something was amiss because she already had the electrical cord in her hand, so does she typically carry one or what? She could have called the cops or whipped the 18 year old, that would have been more acceptable.
Lady your son is being molested and you beat HIM? Wrong person to be beating.
Between an 18-year-old and a 15-year-old?
As pointed out, if 18 yo was male and 15 yo female the ‘We can’t do ANYTHING because it was consensual would NOT have been uttered’...Maybe later, in court, but the desk Sgt or beat cop would never have thought of it.
Mom always walk around - inspecting - the house in middle of night with a handy electric cord?
What does the damage, the cord or lamp/TV/radio or whatever the cord is attached to?
If she would have left the scene and retrieved a weapon, premeditated would have been thought - or at least heavily considered - (Maybe NOT in Texas)
She couldn’t have thought the ‘act’ ALL that disgusting if she didn’t get upset till she saw her son was involved.
Of course, the 18 yo may be the ‘strange uncle/cousin’ that when he comes to visit Dad or another ‘uncle’ may spend a lot of time watching Junior when ‘unk’ around BUT you open the can of whupp ass on the DOER especially if he such activity is his ‘trademark’.
Back in the ‘day’ the Military considered BOTH parties guilty if caught in the act, usually resulting in discharge (groan) and BRIG time for both - the only mitigating circumstance would be one may have been coerced by a Senior, but the local command would push BOTH parties to the next ‘convening authority’.... Local commands ‘job’ was to get both out of area ASAP.
Yes, I remember his statement.
But because BC said it did not make it law.
He was impeached by the House.
And whether you call it statutory rape or molestation, it is an act of an adult on a minor. That carries a sex offender tag.
I think the cousin is in deep trouble.
The mom will probably never be tried for abuse, because the prosecution knows that the jury will not convict her.
The Clinton Administration was one of the worst things to ever happen in the history of our nation. To forever require young children to read and be taught about his antics in their history classes is a blight on our nation.
