Yes, autodealers (Car Dealerships) would give you a very funny look if you didn't ask for a test drive before purchasing one of their tin cans.

Having checked on who JG was,it would be very difficult to achieve a prank.
They always take a copy of both parts of the driving licence and phone through to ensure it's validity. Killjoys.
