The “reason” (for everything in this reality) is found in Gods Word.
The caveat is what a child can understand is rejected by “educated” men because you must accept the truth, by faith, not logic.
This particle will never be found because our Creator needed nothing else but to Will what we experience as reality into being. When they find His Love they will discover what they really seek.

Well, they may find all kinds of things. But, the One behind the particles will never be found...except by those He draws to Himself.

No suit from this direction, my FRiend. Their name for it simply discloses a hunger to find the unifying principle at which they can look, but which will not look back at them. These men wish to be God.
Whatever is found in nature is just the evidence of God’s work. Some particle is not responsible for giving anything mass. The particle, if it exists, is just the residue of God’s process (His Word). The leaves don’t create the wind, they’re just evidence of wind. When Scientist (or more likely the media and academics) dig deep into atom, electrons, or whatever, they say they’ve found a creator. Actually, they’ve only found the creation within minute subdivisions.
For by Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) ALL THINGS WERE CREATED, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—ALL THINGS have been created through Him and for Him.

Men will never find the Higgs boson particle until and unless they come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ because He IS the person who is holding all of this together by the power of His might.
