The only “reality” shows I watch are House Hunters and House Hunters International. Buyers are shown 3 homes from which they pick one to purchase. The real fun is watching Americans expecting all the amenities of home in a foreign land and finding out they can’t get them.
And even then, before the show is filmed, a contract is already signed and in hand on their house of choice, from what I understand. It’s a prerequisite for being on the show.
I used to like that, until I realized that about every third or fourth couple featured were queers.

That show is kinda rigged too! LOL Living abroad and owning props in various countries aint that easy.
You have to be VERY careful, have great insight and never ever trust a realtor! Look upon them as being almost as bad as a South Florida realtor....almost.

There were allegations that HH is “staged” as well. At least one participant claimed that they had to have a contract to buy before the show would do the episode, and that two of the “prospective homes” were never really in the picture...
