Wow. Just saw a real life UFO. Southern Colorado. It happened around 8:25 P.M. On the way home and I saw a bright orange light off to the east. It looked like the top third of a really orange moon rising very fast from behind a cloud except there are no clouds tonight and there is no moon. It pulsed slowly on and then off. I pulled over and got out. No sound. Looked to be, and this is my best guess, about 10 to 15 thousand feet up and elongated. Seemed to be between me and the Sangre De Cristo mountains which are 25 miles east. Looked to be 1/4 to half a mile long. winked out and then 3 bright orange lights appeared suddenly spaced a couple of miles apart and a little to the south of the first one and moving slowly south. They went out and then one large orange light with a flashing red light appeared way to the southeast. It pulsed on and off six times at a steady pace over a 15 second period hanging motionless and then went out and reappeared several miles miles farther south. It pulsed off and on one more time and then shot sideways at incredible speed and stopped somewhere near the New Mexico line which is about 50 miles south. My 13 year old son saw it too. It is a crystal clear night without a cloud in the sky and no trees to block the view. I know you can't take my word for it but maybe some other Freepers in Southern Colorado saw it too. Dang it was the strangest thing I have ever seen and I am 100 percent certain it was no plane or helicopter. Whatever it was it must have one heck of an inertial dampening system.
lulz
I have seen the orange color before. It seems to intensify just before a UFO “disappears” or takes off at extreme speeds. The orange glow is like a very hot campfire ember or how the end of a cigarette looks when the smoker is taking a pull. Does that square with what you observed?
I have entertained the idea that these are living things rather than ships of some sort, though I have no idea of their origin.
Thanks
“Yeah, I would believe that it was some kind of military experiment before I would believe it was and alien ship.”
That is a very logical and proper response, as it goes to the best probability. The problem is the speeds/changes in speeds typically described are not possible by earthly manned craft, nor by any know robotic craft.
This takes us in the direction of light effects from the ground or something completely unknown (which doesn’t have to mean extra-terrestrial).
Of course, the fun part of this sighting is that it’s in the same general area as the famous Snippy the horse incident, precursor of the cow mutilation festivities which also happened in this area.
It wasn’t men, it was “things”. I thought “How do you see something moving at the speed of light” but I don’t know another way to explain it. There were 3 different “things” at three different times. Each one would turn from white to red then streak accross the sky so fast it would leave a light trail.
Steve86, there was a camera and a cam corder sitting right beside me on the console. But it was so exciting we forgot we even had them. A guy at the gas pump said “It must be crop dusters.” When I mentioned it to the clerk at a convenience store he said “I don’t get involved in that shit. Now, will there be anything else?” And I’ve still not giving the complete details of what we saw. But it was exciting! If it was ours, we’ve got some fast stuff!
bump
Interesting, was it the Nevada or the Arizona Tonopah?
Arizona
In the early 70’s a local DJ was in his mobile radio van chasing a UFO in South Florida. My dad and I thought it was cool at first and then, after a time, became convinced that it was hooey. We continued listening as the guy described a large black object flying at only a couple of hundred feet, sometimes less.
We were stopped at a stop sign when a large, very black flying object went through another intersection about 100 yards up the road, maybe 25 feet up. A second later a WFTL van shot through the same intersection. We sat there in our VW Bug, not saying a word for a minute or two. Dad reach over and changed the radio station and said, “So, how was school today?” Never talked about it.
Google a couple of things and get back with me:
TR-3B
Die Glocke
Tesla anti-gravity
There is much more possible by manned aircraft than is common knowledge.
I just love all the naysayers out there who tell us we are stupid and didn’t see what we saw. I’ve seen several UFO’s offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Me and 4 other guys watched one come out of the water and fly up and out of sight in seconds. I also saw one above a cloud about 5 miles away and it entered the small cloud and within minutes the cloud grew in size about 10 times the size when it entered.
It could be the men had already been converted by the pods and were afraid you had discovered what was happening. It takes a long time to convert 4.5 billion people. I hear they are up to 47% here in the US now.
It is interesting that Tesla’s papers were confiscated and classified. Still are.
Speaking of that, I had a coworker (10 years +) and engineer friend who spent two years commuting from McCarren to Groom. Guess I’d better end the discussion right there.
I've seen them at distance since. Just flares.
Well I have an update. I went into town to the gas station/gossip mill and others saw them too. They were seen between 8:00 pm and 8:45 pm appearing and disappearing all along the mountains. Others described them as darting around very fast also. Nothing on the news about it.
Was this sighting in the San Luis Valley — which has a reputation for these kinds of things?
