I looked at this thing and though “Who the hell wants a touch screen interface on a desktop?”

That is my opinion, too. Touch screen for 'real' computing just doesn't seem practical for a work environment.

Right now, my home desktop screen (24" monitor) is nearly 40 inches away from my body. It would seem impractical, awkward, and difficult to have to do my computing via touch screen.
