WHo would have ever expected AMC to dominate the ratings?

lol.

I laugh at the herd mentality of the networks and I have never seen Walking Dead and have little interest in it.

Herd mentality?

Surely you jest. Last season, I only counted about half-a-dozen detective type shows based on the premise of one of lead character's family killed/held captive by bad guys.

Some shows are so bad that they get nearly no viewership and get pulled after only 2-3 episodes. Cult on CW gets less than 1 million veiwers and has already been relegated to Friday nights. Do No Harm on NBC (IIRC) got pulled after 2 episodes. ABC just pulled Zero Hour after 3 episodes aired. Golden Boy on CBS is being moved to Friday night.

The strength of the show is that it is a true drama, about the people involved. The zombies actually act as more of an overall but non-specific threat. Season 2 was both mind-blowing and heart-breaking.
