Glenn Beck and the WWE are going toe-to-toe in a war of words.
The political commentator, who used to host a show on Fox News, called out the wildly popular wrestling organization last week, referring to the entertainers as stupid wrestling people.
Becks comments were referring to the ongoing storyline between Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. Swagger, who has enlisted the help of Zeb Colter, another character in the WWE, is feuding with Del Rio heading into Wrestlemania 29, where the two will square off for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Beck is claiming that Swagger and Colters characters are demonizing the Tea Party when the latter of the two went on a racist rant against Del Rios character during a show last week.
The WWE now has put a new character out that is demonizing the TEA Party, Beck said. You know Linda McMahon, Im sorry you didnt win. We should have seen how your true colors early on, and I think we did. Shes just one of these progressive Republicans that we worry about.

Me neither. The entire sport slid into the gutter after Bobo Brazil retired. I haven't watched a match since. It just isn't wrestling without the dreaded Coco Butt.
Just started watching the WWE about a year ago, and I love it. Sure, the outcomes are scripted, but they are very good athletes. And it’s a lot more entertaining than a lot of the crap on tv these days. And the WWE’s Tribute To The Troops special every year is fantastic. And the troops love it and appreciate it.
“WWE Tribute to the Troops”
As for the Zeb/Del Rio thing, they didn’t have to do that.
Wrestling is the Iranian national sport.
Fun facts to know and keep to yourself! ;)
Glenn Beck attacked Obama Eligibility folks.....and he is more concerned with a wrestling show?
How about devoting time to real issues....like whether this current President is eligible to serve......not whether some steroid freaks said something bad about the TP....
This is the nonsense that helps the liberals win
Yes, Bobo Brazil! The coco butt. He was considered the Jackie Robinson of wrestling.
“It just isn’t wrestling without the dreaded Coco Butt.”
Or Fritz Von Eric and his dreaded “Claw!”
Wrestling is better entertainment than NFL and Hollywood!
ha ha
I just got done watching some clips of this jack swagger and zeb coulter guys and it was pretty hilarious. Jack just got done beating down some pretty boy with a tan and he was in pain falling out of the ring. they were saying “this guy is what is wrong with america.”

My hats off to the WWE.
The WWE stars - and organizers - are the smart ones. The fans are the knuckle draggers.
I know a lot of their older wrestlers lean R (Michaels, HHH, Leyfield, Flair, Rock) outside of Mick Foley. I'm not sure about the current group.
Beck needs to pick better battles. I never cared much for him anyway.

The troops at the Tribute To The Troops events are knuckle draggers? Nice. Liberals would agree with your assessment of our military.
As a side note, FOX financial analyst John Layfield, aka "Bradshaw", was a professional wrestler......and he ain't no dummy.
I said the same thing about "I Love Lucy"......LOL!
Don’t many of the “wrestling” fans root for the “bad guys”?
That's worked well for ya hasn't it. Obammy's only into his second term so maybe any day now. Perhaps holding your breath...
