After the fake girlfriend hoax exploded in January, Katie Couric asked Te

Florio said he didnt think teams actually asked Teo about his sexuality when they met with him over the weekend.
Its been described to me as the proverbial elephant in the room and I dont think anyone knows how to solve this dilemma yet, he said. Its just that they want to know what theyre getting. They want to know what issues they may be dealing with down the road. We just assumed that at some point there would be an openly gay player in an NFL locker room and the team would have to work with the realities and make sure that everythings fine. Now you have a situation where you have a guy who was in a relationship with a fake girl who ended up being a real man, and the man has said to Dr. Phil that he was romantically in love with Manti Teo, it just raises a lot of questions that the NFL at some point is going to have to deal with.
Obviously, if teams are wondering about his sexuality, its an indication that it will affect Teo draft stock. Homophobia has been, and continues to be, a big issue in the NFL.
Im not saying anyone would take Manti Teo off the board if they suspected hes gay or know hes gay, Florio told Dan Patrick. Thats just the thing thats out there that they want to know the answer to.
so what difference does it make???
rumor has it the POTUS is Gay also..
only in America is this important!!!
There’s some hanky-panky going on with his cousin, I bet.
Wow, you mean teams may be apprehensive about entering into a multimillion dollar multi-year contract with an emotionally unstable drama queen? Whodathunkit?
Who cares. What does that have to do with football?
His biggest problems are his miserable showing against Alabama and he is not doing well at the combine (Almost slowest Linebacker there).
I fail to see how anyone could give the slightest crap about this.
He’s uhhh fag.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that...
Exactly...what difference does it make?
We can have four Americans killed and don’t give a damn...
We can have a QB who hangs and electrocutes dogs, goes to jail and no one gives a damn...
We can have wife-beaters, thugs, tax cheats, users of under-age prostitutes, abortionists who kill and are Scott-free to kill again....
No one gives a damn!
Teams give a crap, especially owners, because team chemistry matters - and when you hand a guy $40MM to play the most profitable sport in the world - you want to make sure its going to work in the locker room.
The irony is that team cohesion doesn’t matter as much on the battlefield any more. After all, it’s only national security that’s at stake, not the Super Bowl.
It’s important to keep your priorities straight, you see.
The elephant in the room is that gay doesn’t work on any level, and pushing it is simply a measurement of how ready we are for the full monty - complete totalitarianism recapitulated as a faux free market economy.
Serf’s only had to part with 25%. I aspire to serfdom.
Is that even legal to ask by a potential employer?
Im sure they can word it differntly . .
I know somebody who got caught up with an internet girlfriend scam.
Teo isn’t gay...in fact he desperately seeks female attention.
Next step: the NFL will be pressured not to discriminate against gays. After that, the NFL will required to permit women to participate in football combat.
the NEW NFL:
Screw over Rush, forbid hard hits, make REALLY sure each team has enough gay people.
Lots of eye-rolling, scoffing and bickering in the huddles, as$-slaps with a thoughtful caress at the end, mincing in the end-zone.
PLENTY of shoe-shopping and handbag comparisons with the CheerFRIENDS.
At least he’s not a Quarterback. All the Centers in the league would be sweating bullets!
If he get's knocked out and needs mouth to mouth, can they call you or Haircutter?
Methinks thou dost protest too much. Homosexuality is an extreme narcissistic personality disorder. Not a quality you look for in the POTUS.
