Actually, I have fun at parties. It just depends on what party I am going.
If it is hanging out with my conservative friends hunting and fishing, eating over a camp fire, howling at the moon, drinking, enjoying nature, busting on liberals, telling jokes, singing, and trading stories, then it is fun. But we don't talk about fudge packing Hollywood types and people who love them.
Another low-information voter apparently, but you have hope. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, but he also was the worst abuser of the US Constitution. Don't get tied up in Hollywood crap and read some history instead.

The Arts contribute a lot to our country.
I have seen every Autry flick growing up or as an adult. I used to go to a matinee as a kid for 25 cents on Saturday mornings. They had cartoons and a triple feature. Looking back on it now, it was all about giving parents some time away from the kids. I am sure my parents ran back home to the bedroom. The movies they showed were all old at the time, but the kids loved it. There was always a western short, often Gene Autry, and many repeats. But that didn't matter. We (the kids) had a blast together. I guess this is similar to going to the mall today for kids, but much better.
That was true at one time, but now it is contributing to its' downfall.
I absolutely do not "support" those who wish to destroy America and our values. Provide a quote by me on this thread where I stated that.
