The college football system stinks. But, I see nothing here to worry about. 4 kids with criminal tendencies did what criminals will do. They got suspended.
Either they’ll end up in the NFL or in jail.
They’ll have to transfer to play. Sabin can’t afford this.
This article is several days old. Maybe you could find an update on this situation.
They were’nt kicked off the team. Only temporary suspensions.
Guilty until proven innocent? Should they have been permanently kicked off the team before their trial?
There’s no reason for it to be anything but temporary at this point, nobody has been found guilty yet. If they get found guilty or plead guilty make it permanent, but you don’t want to kick them off permanently only to have them acquitted in court, no reason to follow the Duke lacrosse path.
“Theyll have to transfer to play. Sabin cant afford this.”
I’m happy for the good folks of Alabama, but I’m no fan of Saban. That being said, he’s really smart, and good at what he does. Saban will do what he has to do. If he needs these criminals, er, young men, on his team, they’ll be allowed to work their way back. If not, they’ll be gone.
I think it will be important for the team to give the offenders every opportunity to make amends. It’s showing the kids that the school has their back. (Even if it’s not really true).
“They werent kicked off the team. Only temporary suspensions.”
Yes, I believe I typed they were suspended. The term used is indefinite, which in college football, usually means, until this blows over.
Confirmation of my suspicions is always a good thing.
Thugball needs thugs. College thugball needs illiterate thugs.
“2. Possession of firearms, ammunition, and weapons by students is not allowed on campus.”
.
A semi-auto with a high capacity magazine would have come in handy for those students who were beaten.
The headline writer should wait and allow due process to continue. Let them go to trial before sentencing is pronounced.
They may be among the growing Race Industry movement to make the Knockout Game an intercollegiate sport. Competition would be conducted among the crowds watching football and basketball . . . .

Three of the players are barred from campus pending a judicial review. They are done. When Saban indefinitely suspends a player, the player is almost certainly done for good.
I wonder what would happen to one of the victims if he crept up on one of the attackers and clocked him in the face with a baseball bat?
Williams wants to go home to mommie? She already had a chance to rear him properly and failed.
If I didn’t know better, I would think SEC.
The Scholar Athleets were puttin’ their African American class lessons to good application on the oppressor, old whitey!
