Yes, and I don't think it had anything to do with O's speech. I think it had to do with making absolutely sure he could never contradict the Official Narrative. We don't know if he did what they said he did... hey, we don't even know he wrote that manifesto, really. All we know is that when you go against the LAPD, they kill you. They disapprove of a citizen defending his/her own life, but you threaten theirs and by God, there will be no trial, and no paperwork but the paperwork they allow.
In my more tinfoil-leaning moments yesterday, I wondered how many people in the area had actually seen "Christopher Dorner" in the past week. I can't imagine more than about a dozen; four of them are dead, five more are LEO, and maybe there are three or four "civilians".
I agree. They had absolutely no intent of bringing him in alive.
You do make a good point. He could have been set up. Who is to say anymore?
My first instinct is to believe he was just a murderous psychopath. I am sorry for those innocents who died, were hurt or lost loved ones.
