This reminds me of Jurassic Park 3 (2001). Sam Neill's assistant out at the dig at the beginning of the movie had a 3D printer in the headquarters. He printed the voice box (that's a technical term) of a Velociraptor that they used on the island to simulate a Velociraptor distress call when surrounded by Velociraptors.

That’s exactly what it is. I’m open to finding a good graphic for the 3-D Printer Ping list, if you have one in mind.
