BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (AP) Los Angeles police say they will reopen the disciplinary proceedings that led to the firing of a former officer who's wanted in three killings over the past several days.
Cmdr. Andrew Smith said Saturday that the department will reopen the investigation that apparently has led Christopher Dorner to seek revenge against former LAPD colleagues who he believed cost him his law enforcement career.

Yeah, that’s the ticket!
Maybe they will find him eligible for re-instatement with full back pay. Even a promotion.
They’ve opened the door to a new OJ style hero.
The usual suspects will accept nothing less than guilt on the part of the LAPD and the innocent victims of Dorner will be forgotten.
I can see the defense attorney now...”Racism drove this man to kill people, it’s not his fault”
You kill "one"....No less than life in prison without parole....
You kill "Two"....you get the needle.
This is just PR from the LAPD.
People around the country are starting to discuss police brutality in their own cities and towns. About time, I think.
You can actually read up on daily police brutality, from accross the nation, at Injustice Everywhere. The National Police Misconduct Statistics and Reporting Project.
They need to dig up Kuntsler to defend him using the “Black Rage” defense. That is if he is brought in without ventilation.
The chief promises to hear him out if he surrenders? They’re shooting to kill for crying out loud!
Too little, too late. From now on until this ends, this is going to be all about damage control and spin, and spin they will. Either way, this guy will not make it out alive.
Theyve opened the door to a new OJ style hero.
Yup.
Well it’s not his fault for killing people it’s the guns fault.
Any appeal period for his termination must have lapsed by now. The only thing they can accomplish with this charade is to implicitly reward a homicidal rampage.
Like the great Hillary once said, “what difference could it make now?”
They already have.
Did Holder make a call?
Agreed. There is no way LAPD will let this guy be heard.
Is it time for the Al & Jesse Circus Clown Act?
Lesson: if you want a new review of your case, you need to start killing people
People get screwed all the time.
Few of them take vengeance on those not responsible. Few take vengeance at all, really.
Dorner writes about a corrupt system - and there is corruption - but these murders are all about him, him, him.
