A need for prayers...
Thought y’all would like a heads up here.
Excellent news! Prayers for a full recovery.
Praise God!!!
Thanks for the heads up, amom!
You are very welcome my dear AG.
When you finish this morning’s activities, I want you to recall that all your friends here as well as there know that effort that you are having to make each morning and afternoon. You will have to call on reserves of will and we want our confidence in you and our firm assurance in God’s assistance to be there for you.
Dear FrogMom,
We are all so distressed to learn of your stroke. How enormously grateful we are that you received timely assistance and that you are in good hands both from this physical realm and from the One That Matters!
Merciful Father,
We place our beloved FRiend known to us as FROGMOM before your altar. We are praying for her immediate recovery from this physical setback. Surround her and her family with strength and comfort and supply them with the keys to the divine laws of health in this matter.
Guide each of the medical and rehab personnel working with FrogMom and let all treatments, medications, and interventions be 100% successful according to thy will.
We have enjoyed the company of our FrogMom on this forum, and we know how inspiring she can be. Help her continue exercising this gift of inspiration of those around her (and here!) as she moves through the stages of recovery.
We all agree, in name of our Lord, for the full healing of our FRiend and all who are have similar need and situation according to thy will.
We thank and praise thee in His Name, our merciful Father.
Amen
Amen.
Thank you for your prayer my dear Texokie.
Very, very true Burke.
bttt for the late night crowd.
FrogMom, thinking of you this Sunday morning.
You are welcome, amom. Glory to God for all good things.
Amen my FRiend. Hope you had a pleasant Sunday.
You good folks are in my prayers this evening.
I remember a time...
I’ve decided to give you a bit of humor cause laughter is the best medicine. So here goes...
As a group of soldiers stood in formation at an Army Base, the Drill Sergeant said, “All right! All you idiots fall out.”
As the rest of the squad wandered away, one soldier remained at attention.
The Drill Instructor walked over until he was eye-to-eye with him, and then raised a single eyebrow. The soldier smiled and said, “Sure was a lot of ‘em, huh, sir?”
Badabing!
Officer: “Soldier, do you have change for a dollar?”
Soldier: “Sure, buddy.”
Officer: “That’s no way to address an officer!
Now let’s try it again!”
Officer: “Soldier. Do you have change for a dollar?”
Soldier: “No, SIR!”
All those names in your post from the good ol’ days of great friends and fellowship. Some sorely missed, some rarely seen, some still here but all great companions on this journey.
We are so blest to have what The Lord has granted us.
I too send prayers for support of FrogMom as she works through the big tasks of this recovery.
I forgot to say “Hi” to you and best regards. I see you post every once in a while but it’s been a long time since we were one the same thread.
I hope you are doing well.
Good evening my FRiend. I reflect on those earlier times and am amazed at the friendships created. Indeed we are blessed.
I know that Two Thirds is still around occasionally — he joined in our prayers for Susie when i pinged him. Sadly Towanda has not posted since 04 when she stopped by to comment in the Kerry campaign.
