We are not, after all, dealing with a non-violent situation where nobody got hurt ~ they killed her baby ~ she has a fundamental right of self-defense and it doesn't get more basic than that.
I pray for the women who don’t realize they’ve been lied to, that are caught up with abortion, and not just the women and girls, but the men and boys who impregnated them. This country is under the farcical belief that you can have sex without repercussions. We need to reeducate our young people that sex has consequences beyond STDs. There is guilt and shame (at a minimum) to deal with when having an abortion. These are real lives that are snuffed out! Some, like the woman in the article, are beginning to see the reality of this. Unplanned pregnancies are difficult times, but not impossible. I will continue to pray for all involved. I hope we can reeducate our young people, but we need God’s help.
