If you're spending a full day in SA, the "Rio Taxi" is great fun. It's a $15 pass for a full 24 hours on the river taxi. It takes you on a portion of the San Antonio River that most tourists miss. Though the boat captains aren't required, most give you descriptions of the passing sights like the river walk boat captains do.

An evening at the Grist Mill in New Braunfels (Gruene) is also great fun. Plan on an intimate dinner with just a few thousand others and drop by the oldest dance hall in Texas. Remember, "y'all" is singular, "y'alls" is plural.
