I heard the story and the first thing that popped into my feeble mind was....

Who followed all those “mad cats” to determine the number of birds killed.

I also thought of Alfred Hitchcock’s the Birds movie and thought “thank God for the cats”...other wise we’d be over run by birds....

rather than face the cats on the ground, knowing they were going to die anyway

birds fall dead out of the sky(fish not safe either)

But, But, But,.... Birds are so much sweeter than those nasty killer cats. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate cats, just allergic to them.

Haters gotta hate I guess. :)

We keep several bird feeders outside the kitchen window. They attract lots of birds: flickers, woodpeckers, cardinals, etc. Our cats have yet to catch a bird. However, the hawks from the nearby woods have killed several. All part of nature, I guess.
