We've had forty cats. Actually, the most we had at once was 55 but we lost several the past couple of years due to old age or illness.
We'll have forty again before much longer, I'm sure. We're overdue for another stray to be dumped at the farm, which is why we have so many. It'll be spayed/neutered ASAP, as all the others have been. We have to maintain at least a little control of our population. LOL!

There is a farm about 5 miles from me that I drove by one afternoon when it was feeding time for their kitties. There must have been at least 40 or 50 of some of the most beautiful cats that I have ever seen, being fed. It was quite a site. I have watched for them being fed, as on occasion I have driven by, but have not seen them again. The site of so many gorgeous, happy looking cats in one place, outdoors. was really something to behold.
